Email marketing as a solution rather than just another system

We all know what email marketing is, its ins and outs, its difficulties and where we can get a quick win with our customer base. But, how effective could your email marketing be as part of a solution rather than just another system?
A number of CommuniGator clients have already approached us with just this problem, they have a number of disparate systems which hold data relating to potential recipients, data which could allow them to put the right email in front of the right person at the right time.
For most companies this internal system is their CRM, this is the crux of their internal operation, it holds data on Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities and at times it integrates with other tools such as their CMS or ERP systems.
All of this data combined together and used the right way could be massively powerful, right? So what now, you know you have the data, you know where it lives but how do you use it as part of a greater solution?
This is the question CommuniGator has already answered for all those out there using one of our out-of-the-box integrations, such as MSCRM, SageCRM, SalesLogix, ACT!, Goldmine, Clim8, Maximiser and Salesforce, but what about those who use a different CRM system, a bespoke system, or who want to send transactional emails based on web site registrations for example?
This is where CommuniGator's SDK comes into a play; once you have your CommuniGator system setup, whether it is hosted or on-premise, the SDK can be used to trigger transactional emails, upload and update contacts, fetch results, create campaigns, the list goes on. The SDK is powerful and will need someone with development skills to make the most of it, but it is there and you can use it to build a solution that fits your business vision.
The SDK is fully documented and we can even provide an example test app which developers can use to get started. The next step is to work out whether you are ready for powerful email marketing as part of a solution rather than just as another piece of software?
