CommuniGator's email marketing software is available as a hosted solution or installed on customer site to facilitate integration with existing CRM applications. Both versions have a built-in SPAM checker to assess emails before they are sent. Emails with a SPAM score of 5 or more will be blocked by filters before they reach the recipient. Using CommuniGator's email marketing SPAM checker gives the marketer a better chance of getting their communications delivered - highlighted errors can be corrected. The software package also has a bounce manager - emails that bounce are highlighted in the database - if an email bounces three times it is checked as 'undeliverable'. Email marketing software comes with an HTML editor and with CommuniGator; it is also possible to upload HTML from a URL or zip file. The editor has 2 parts: HTML and text; CommuniGator's email software automatically sends a two part MIME message - if the HTML is stopped by the recipients network, the text version continues and is delivered in its' place.
